Art pricing: The artist prices her work according to size, colors , subject matter and the time involved in the production of the art piece.
Small sizes starting at 8x10 , 12x16, 11x14 would be around $ 200
then 16x20, 18x24, 20x24 in the $ 500's.
Born in Haiti, Raymonde Talleyrand began doodling and sketching at a tender age. She would postpone her plan to study art, when a choice of career became necessary. She graduated from Pharmacy School in Haiti, and worked as a Registered pharmacist a few years later in United States, while developing her artistic talent part time, and raising her family.
In the state of New Jersey where she lived, she participated at different exhibits under the guiding experience of Barbara Minch who created The group"Exhibitors COOP" and introduced her students to different media. She participated to numerous juried art shows and was second prize winner at the"South Orange Art Show" She also did on the side, commissions works , children portraits.
Moving to Florida in the tropical setting of her dreams, she joined her community's artistic group under the mentoring abilities of Karen Knight .Her art work was chosen and displayed at"Palm Beach International airport" as she participated at "Art in Public Places" show.
Along with her fellow members of the" Artists Association of Jupiter," Raymonde sold her work in her own gallery, A" Unique Art Gallery". Raymonde has also been an active member of the "Wellington art Society'' , and is participating regularly at their art exhibit. Her work has been sold in Florida,New-Jersey, New-York, Mexico, Canada, Haiti. She is represented virtually, and her work is displayed at "Myriam Nader Art Gallery"in New-York . Myriam sold many piece of her collection . She was featured as an artist in the year 2020 at the " Copelouzos' Family Art Museum" in Athens, Greece. With her piece:"Nature and Nurture", she participated at the 35x35 art project at this time.
She paints most days. Her favorite activity is to bring joy and color to the world and also offer some of her paintings for auctionto the benefit of charitable associations.
